I really wanted to find the photograph of me next a sign "Crystal Falls" which was taken in the Dorrigo Rain Forest in Australia. This is truly a brilliant place to visit. I couldn't find the photograph. Must get these photos labeled and into albums - another job to be done.
So I took another photograph - this is a picture of an old crystal broach which belonged to my granmother, I have no idea if they were real, I don't expect so as Nan always loved costume jewellery and this piece was her favourite.....maybe it was some attachment to me as she loved me so much (and I her). We had not seen each other for 16 years until I returned to this country and lived with her for three years before she had to move and I then lived close by so that I could visit her every day. Sadly she died 20 years ago...and I do miss her so.
You have no idea how many photos I took of this broach, until one was acceptable for this post. It really doesn't show how beautiful it is. ( like me - mmm who am I kidding)......
