Photo a Day Challenge - BEDSIDE

My bedside table is temporary - my old bedside table is waiting in the garage for a makeover (by me).

The lamp is also temporary - the reason why it hasn't a lampshade - I want one that goes up and over so the light shines onto my book while I am reading in bed.  I have my loose change from my purse, my alarm clock so that I don't oversleep in the mornings and beside that is the most important item - my reading glasses!

Now there is a selection of books - my private challenge to finish in a month (I doubt it!).

The current read is Broken by Karin Slaughter.  Will tell you more later.

The next one is a non fiction Enslaved - The New British Slavery by Rahil Gupta.  That should be interesting.

The next book is My French Whore by Gene Wilder - I did not go for the title on this one - I liked the size of print and the feel of the book, with fresh white pages.  We shall see if I like the story.

Home Leave by Libby Purves - this was recommended by my Aunt.  So yet to find out.

Knots and Crosses by Ian Rankin.  Everytime I see his books I just don't want to read them. And yet it is a recommended author for my favourite genre.  So I have made this a 2012 challenge to read this book.  It still sits on my table.

The next two are not part of my month's challenge:

Gorsemoor Cottage by Marion Whybrow - I have only just acquired it and have not put in my Log of books to be read.

In the Hot Seat by Richard Holdsworth - I just had to buy this - Brand New! Buying new is totally against my principles.  Richard was in Australia around the time I was but way down in Adelaide.  I thoroughly enjoyed his book of his experiences and it is sitting on my table to read again.
