I have not been recording the progress so I am going to turn over a new leaf and try and post something per day.
So to bring you us up to date.
Lets start from last weekend - Saturday 3rd - had a great time meeting up with friends in Bournemouth. Haven't been to Bournemouth for over 40 years. Of course it has changed.
Prior to the weekend I had a book cull - from the 728 books on my shelves, over 100 has been put aside to go to charity.
I got up one morning at 6 am and it took me about two hours to go through every book and take out - "print too small", "light print" and "lines too close". A shame about Rumplestiltskin by Ed McBain - one I would have liked to keep til I read it, but it is hard work on the eyes.
A nice drive out this afternoon - the goal was to find a pub for a quiet drink. We drove some miles along "B" roads with not a pub in sight, but would you believe I had never ever been around the area and it is only about 10 miles from home. At last we found one.....

....and I don't like beer!
Back home - picked some strawberries - have about 4 plants and this is all we have so far.
Yes they have gone - eaten. Not much to show really.
