Finding my "Road"

Last year I decided to retire in 2012.  Here we are in February, and I am still working, albeit part time, but I am still working, but because I work for myself I can pick and choose which days I want to work.  Which suits me fine as there are other things I want to do in my life as well.

One thing I need to do is keep busy, not only for the exercise, but because I like to fill the day with a lot of activity and know I have achieved something.

January came and went, and during that time I thought about starting a blog on my "road to retirement and beyond.......".

On this "Road" I want to cover a lot of things........reading, flower arranging, painting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, refurbishing furniture, woodwork, decorating, DIY, gardening, walking, swimming, cycling, travel, writing, etc.  A bit of everything.  I never had the opportunity of trying out all these as family and work got in the way.

I will add pictures of my attempts, achievements and disasters, as I go along and hope that others will find this Blog interesting.....or even funny.
