Halloween

I don't ever remember celebrating Halloween!  Even when our children were young I never sent them out to Trick or Treat.  But some parents do send their children out, and sometimes adults knock on your door Trick or Treat. 

This year I am not prepared for anybody - I have nothing in the house that would be interesting to give them as a treat. So fingers crossed I don't hear the rat a tat tat.

But....I found a lonesome pumpkin in the garden, all ready ripened.  We are having it with our tea tonight with a chicken  and asparagus casserole.  I don't like cutting up a pumpkin unless I am going to eat it, so here is my attempt at celebrating Halloween!
